Peabody College Students Eligible For George & Rachel Shaw Scholarship

Applications for the $3,000 scholarship are available for the annual award and are due on March 24.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody college students have a little more than a month to obtain and return their application for the annual George & Rachel Shaw Scholarship worth $3,000.

The scholarship, administered through the Peabody Historical Society, is funded by Sylvia Foster Marble in honor of her parents, George and Rachel Shaw. The applications are available at the Society Headquarters at 35 Washington Street by mail or online here.

Completed applicated are due on March 24.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be a resident of Peabody, must have completed or are currently completing a sophomore year in college or beyond, and must be a full-time college student carrying at least 12 credits per semester.

Completed applications can be emailed to info@peabodyhistorical.org, or mailed to the Peabody Historical Society & Museum, 35 Washington Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
