Peabody Ed. Foundation Announces George Peabody Legacy Winners
The Peabody Education Foundation has released the names of the six recipients who will receive the 6th Annual George Peabody Legacy Award.
From the Peabody Education Foundation: The Peabody Education Foundation has released the names of the six (6) recipients who will receive the 6th Annual George Peabody Legacy Award this year. The recipients are: Dorothea Kuchinsky, Elaine Metropolis, Victor Passacantilli, Cynthia Moore, Karen McGovern, and Louis Surman (posthumously). The recipients were selected from dozens of nominations made by the public. These individuals are being recognized for the lasting impact that they have made on the education of students and the education system in Peabody.
An award ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 6:00 PM at the Wiggin Auditorium, located in City Hall, Peabody MA. If you are interested in attending the ceremony, tickets may be purchased here. Ticket prices are $40 per person and include a buffet and cash bar.
