Peabody Fall Free Curbside Leaf Pickup Begins Next Week
Yard waste and trash pickup will be delayed one day because of the Monday holiday.
PEABODY, MA — It's about time to start raking in Peabody.
The city will begin its free fall curbside leaf pickup program next week with pickup for trash and yard waste delayed one day because of the Monday holiday. The remaining leaf pickup weeks this fall are the weeks of Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6.
Resident Dump Day will also continue to be held the last Saturday in each month from 7 a.m. to noon.

Residents who want to utilize Dump Day should contact the Department of Public Services at 50 Farm Avenue or call 978-536-0600 to reserve a reservation voucher and to receive further instructions.
Leaf pickup will occur on residents' regularly scheduled trash day but may be picked up later in the day. Leafs must be placed in paper bags and barrels. No plastic bags will be accepted or emptied.

Residents can also take yard waste to the Department of Public Services from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Additional capacity and new dumpsters have been created to account for the increased volume and overflow.
