Peabody Holiday Concert Tickets On Sale

This year's concert features the Hillyer Festival Orchestra playing at Peabody City Hall.

From The City of Peabody: Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr., and the Peabody Concert Committee are pleased to announce that tickets are available for our Annual Holiday Concerts at Peabody City Hall. The dates for this year’s concerts are Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th . Saturday evening, dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. Doors to the auditorium will not open until 6:45 p.m. Dinner will be offered at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday followed by the concert at 6:00 p.m. Doors to the auditorium will not open until 4:45 p.m.

The Hillyer Festival Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Dirk Hillyer, will be returning to celebrate “A Starlight Christmas” with us. The Peabody High School Chorale under the direction of Mr. Jon Simmons will be joining us again with some special treats. “this year we are delighted to welcome Rabbi Richard Pearlman, from the Temple Ner Tamid to our program. We are also pleased to welcome Peabody native Bethany Vahn to our concert stage. Bethany has performed throughout the United States as a singer/dancer in theme parks such as Busch Gardens and Opryland, as well as touring shows such as “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat” and “the Sound of Music”. Bethany also travelled throughout Europe where she performed Classical, Broadway and Jazz genres with various musical companies. Of course, there also will be singers and surprises to add magic to your evening and stardust to your eyes.

A delicious dinner will be served preceding the concert by Vinwood Caterers. During the intermission, coffee and dessert will be served, and as usual, a cash bar is available. Ticket prices are $35 for balcony chairs seats, $45 for balcony table seats and $50 for orchestra table seats. Tickets are on a first come – first served basis and are available only through the Debbie MacGregor in the Office of Community Development at City Hall. You can reach Debbie at 978-538-5775.
