Peabody Hosting First Annual YMCA of Metro North Half Marathon

PEABODY, MA – Peabody is playing host to the first-ever YMCA of Metro North Half Marathon.

The November race is the only half marathon in Peabody, and through the YMCA of Metro North's partnership with the Torigian Family YMCA, all proceeds will be donated to the latter's scholarship fund.

The fund will be used by the Torigian Family YMCA to ensure that no one in the community is denied access based on an inability to pay.

Sign up for the race, to be held Saturday, Nov. 19 at Lt. Ross Park, and enjoy a pre-Thanksgiving week test of endurance.

Registration is $45 online, and those interested may also register on site from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m.

The race will begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 19 at Lt. Ross Park, 23 Johnson St.
