Peabody Man Fights Back Against Alzheimer's

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care.

Peter Kristo, Jr. of Peabody is participating in the Northeastern Massachusetts Walk to End Alzheimer’s to honor the memory of his father, who he lost to the disease.

“This disease is horrible,” said Kristo. “To see my mother break down over the progression of my dad was one of the worst moments of my life. I walk to bring awareness and raise money for a cure, its just a great way to show support.”

The walk takes place on Sunday, September 20 at Brickstone Park in Andover.
