Peabody Man Gets 15 Minutes Of Internet Fame With Viral Photos

PEABODY, MA -- When Nick Roberts posed for photos on a Nahant beach in June, he probably didn't expect the whole Internet would be talking about them six months later. The photos, which were shot by his friend Stephen Cwiok and meant as a surprise for his girlfriend, show Roberts prominently displaying his "dad bod" belly in poses more typically seen in maternity photo shoots of expectant mothers.

The couple is expecting their first child, and Roberts wanted to give the photos to Brianna Magee at their gender-reveal party in June. "I just kept flipping through the pictures and each one, I just started laughing harder and harder," Magee told WHDH Channel 7, which first reported this story.

Roberts told the news station told the station that modeling for the shoot was tough, "because we just kept laughing. Like, this is absolutely ridiculous."
