Peabody New Year's Day Coronavirus Testing Full

All 500 slots for Saturday's testing at Higgins Middle School were taken as of Friday morning.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Health Department said all 500 slots for Saturday's New Year's coronavirus testing were filled as of Friday morning.

Those who pre-registered can arrive anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for drive-thru testing, but no one who did not pre-register will be accepted.

"Please remember to wear a mask when interacting with the test site staff," The Peabody Health Department said. "We thank you in advance for your patience and apologize to those who cannot be accommodated at this event.

"The city of Peabody is in the process of securing additional testing opportunities for our residents (in January)."
