Peabody North Shore Children's Museum Plans School Vacation Events
Looking for something to do with the kids during school vacation? Check out the North Shore's only children's museum's programming.

PEABODY, MA — Families looking for activities to entertain and educate the kids during school vacation week are invited to attend a week of special events at the North Shore Children's Museum of Peabody.
The museum will be open for special hours on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 20:
Hip Hop with Dance Movement at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. Join us to learn how to express ourselves through dance and movement. We will explore multiple styles of Hip Hop, learn and create dance routines, and build our dance vocabularies. Together we will dive into the foundations of Hip Hop and how we use the dance element to speak and articulate our individuality through the language of Hip Hop. Speaking this language is more than just a passing style or trend but an entire culture that has impacted the globe.

Wednesday, Feb. 21:
Whit Cooking Class at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. Join certified cooking instructor Whit for a morning of nutrition education through cooking. Kids and parents will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the expert guidance of Whit.
Thursday, Feb. 22:
Join Miss Shelley for kids yoga and mindfulness this Thursday at 10 a.m. Take some time during
this busy school break week to breathe and move your body.
Friday, Feb. 23:
Join Coach Lex from Danvers Indoor Sports for a fun morning of active learning through sports. Warm up, run, and work on skill drills during our 9 a.m to noon play session.
Sunday, Feb. 25:
This week the STEAM Club will be getting hands-on with Messy Science with special guest Linda Sessa. Guests ages 5 to 11 are invited each Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for STEAM club.
To reserve your child's space in any of these programs, add no-cost participant tickets to your cart along with admission for your entire party to the coinciding play session at NSCM.
Children's programs are free with admission to the coinciding play session unless otherwise designated. Tickets are subject to availability.
