PEABODY, MA – A Peabody police officer has joined the governing body of the state's largest law enforcement union.
John Nelson, the Peabody Police Department's Crime Prevention Officer, was elected vice president of Mass C.O.P. last week.
Representing more than 4,250 members serving in over 157 municipalities, Mass C.O.P. is the largest police union in the Commonwealth.
