All proceeds of the Labor Day event will go to the Jimmy Fund and Cops for Kids with Cancer.

PEABODY, MA – The Peabody Police Department is asking residents to donate to two great causes ahead of their 60th annual Charity Baseball Game this Labor Day.
The department has partnered with Lynnfield Police to sponsor the event, and a team comprised of officers from both departments will take on The North Shore Old-Timers Monday, September 5 at Emerson Park in Peabody. The North Shore Old-Timers consist of a wide variety of local legends and celebrity players.
All proceeds from the game will go directly to the Jimmy Fund and Cops for Kids with Cancer, two organizations dedicated to funding cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as the families of children fighting cancer.
