Peabody Recreation Offers Fall Programs
Middle School Rock-Climbing and Farm Fall Day will be Early Release Days

The Peabody Recreation Division provides a variety of year round recreation activities for children and adults. Programs such as summer playgrounds, special needs day camp, leagues and clinics. Here is a selection of activities offered this fall:
Rock Climbing Adventure
Rock climbing adventure for middle-school students. Venture to “Crow Hill” in the Leominster State Forest for some of the area’ss best rock-climbing. Please pack plenty of food, water and warm clothes. In the event of rain, this program will be moved indoors to MetroRock climbing center in Newburyport. Transportation and equipment included.

Farm Fall Fest - Early Release Day
Fall is a beautiful time of year in Peabody. Come drop your children at Brooksby Farm and we will paint pumpkins, feed the animals, eat apples, create fall crafts and play games.

Youth Pumpkin Carving Class
“Etch-style” pumpkin carvings are becoming increasingly popular. This non-traditional
technique harnesses the power of a light bulb to shine through an etched pumpkin shell.
This three-day workshop will take you step-by-step from plain pumpkin to masterpiece!
- Ages: 11-16
- October 27, 28 and 29; 3:30-6:00 pm
- Location: Brooksby Farm, 54 Felton St. Peabody, MA 01960
- Cost: $45 (includes pumpkin and all needed materials)
