Peabody Residents Will See Slight Decrease In Electric Bills

PEABODY, MA -- Peabody Municipal Light Plant approved a 0.52 percent rate decrease. For the average residential customer using 500 kilowatt hours per month, that means their bill would drop to $55.14 from $55.43 per month. For commercial customers, the average bill will drop 0.2 percent and industrial customers will see their average monthly bills drop by 3.1 percent.
