Peabody Restaurant Week Dates Announced

Peabody restaurants are preparing for a flood of customers looking for great deals on some mouthwatering three course meals.

The City of Peabody and Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the return of Restaurant Week. Several Peabody eateries will run specials from September 10 until September 21. Each restaurant will offer an appetizer, entree, and dessert for a total of $20.17. The price point is based on the current calendar year. From sushi to sausage, those dining out will have plenty of delicious dishes to choose from in the eleven day period.

"Peabody is lucky to have such a diverse assortment of restaurants where residents can enjoy delicious food, top-notch service and great company," says Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. "We have businesses who are truly committed to the economic success of Peabody as a whole. It's also fitting that Restaurant Week begins on the day of the International Festival; a time when our community celebrates our diverse culture with ethnic food inspired from all over the world."

In the coming weeks residents should be on the lookout for announcements on participating restaurants and their respective deals.

"Promotional events are a great way to introduce businesses to the community. People tend to be creatures of habit when choosing a restaurant, so events such as Restaurant Week allow us to raise awareness of small businesses and help attract new customers," said Deanne Healey, President/CEO of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce.
