Peabody Running Back Named a Patch 'Player of the Week'
Veteran high school sports reporter Bob Holmes named Noah Freedman one of Week 2's best.

PEABODY, MA – We're only two weeks into the football season, but some athletes have already emerged as standouts on the gridiron.
Veteran high school sports reporter Bob Holmes dropped his list of Patch players of the week Monday, and Peabody's junior running back Noah Freedman made the cut.

Noah Freedman, Peabody -- The Tanners won their first game, blanking Malden, 7-0, thanks in large part to their junior running back. Freedman ran for 88 yards, including 39 on the winning drive, and the game's only touchdown in the fourth quarter.
