PEABODY, MA — Each of the eight Peabody elementary schools will host professional theater performances over the next month designed to help children and families deal proactively with social issues and concerns facing students.

The Peabody Education Foundation is sponsoring the 12 "TIGER" — Theater Integrating Gudiance & Responsibility —performances across the schools in February and March. The Plymouth State College program offers original music performances, based on the writings of children, that incorporate interactive experiences and workshops for students teachers and parents.

The Emmy Award-winning program has performed for more than 53,000 students over its 20 years across New England.
