Peabody Schools Want to be a Game Changer
School district applies for Kraft Foundation's Game Changer program against domestic violence.

The Peabody School District has applied for acceptance in the Kraft Foundation’s Game Changer domestic violence prevention program.
Superintendent Herb Levine recently sent a letter to the City Council and Councilor Anne Manning thanking them for their suggestion that the schools apply for the program.
“The Peabody public schools have had a long and productive relationship with the Kraft Foundation through Project 351, a statewide school leadership project to which we send representatives every year,” said Levine.

Levine said the schools have applied for the Game Changer program through the DECA club and its advisor, Lenny Brand.
“Peabody High School and its students are active throughout the year with programs and other educational activities that center around teen dating violence prevention, domestic abuse, and other social ills and are engaged in activities both in and out of school that bring great pride to the Peabody community,” said Levine.
