Peabody Sets Date For Concert, Fireworks

If you didn't get your fill of fireworks fun last week, the city of Peabody has you covered.

PEABODY, MA -- The city will hold its annual summer concert and fireworks on August 5 beginning at 7 pm. The annual event will this year feature The Reminisants, an oldies band that places hits from the 1950s to 1990s.

"The Annual Summer Concert & Fireworks Spectacular has quickly become a cherished tradition in Peabody," Peabody Mayor Ted Bettencourt said in a news release. "So once again this summer we look forward to an evening of great music followed by a breathtaking fireworks display that will light up the sky over the football field."

In addition to stadium bleacher seating, family picnic areas will be designated for concert and fireworks viewing. There will be food vendors on site and free parking available. Transportation is available for senior citizens via a shuttle bus from the Torigian Community Life Center on Central Street.
