Peabody State Primary Early Voting To Begin Aug. 27
Peabody will have two drop boxes set up to submit no-excuse mail-in/absentee ballots for the Sept 6 primary.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody will conduct early voting from Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 ahead of this fall's state primary election.
Massachusetts law now also once again allows for no-excuse absentee voting by mail or submission via two ballot drop boxes in the city. Those drop boxes will be located at the accessible entrance to City Hall at 24 Lowell Street and at the Peabody West Branch Library location at 603 Lowell Street.
All early voting will take place at City Hall. Voting on Aug. 27 and Aug. 28 will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Early voting on Aug. 29, Aug. 30 and Aug. 31 will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting on Sept. 1 will be from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will conclude on Sept. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The deadline to vote in person via absentee ballot is Sept. 2 at 5 p.m. The deadline to return a requested absentee or vote-by-mail ballot is Election Night at 8 p.m.
All polls on Sept. 6 will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ward 1 votes at the Brown School on Lynn Street. Ward 2 votes at Holy Ghost Azorean BHD at 20 Howley Street. Ward 3 votes at the Torigian Senior Center.
Ward 4, precincts 1, 2, and 3 vote at the Higgins Middle School on Perkins Street. Ward 4, precinct 3A votes at Brooksby Village.
Ward 5 votes at Peabody High School. Ward 6 votes at the Burke School on Birch Street.
Applications for mail-in/absentee ballots must be received by Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. Residents should receive a postcard from the Secretary of State's office to request a mail-in ballot. If one was not received, contact the Peabody City Clerk's Office to request one.
The deadline to register to vote or change an address for the Sept. 6 election is Aug. 27.
