PEABODY, MA — These Peabody students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
Lydia McGinn received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College on May 22 in a Commencement ceremony concluding the college's 210th year.
An art history and French and francophone studies major, McGinn graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors in art history and French and francophone studies.

McGinn completed an art history thesis titled "Anatomy as Ideology: Vaginal Hell Mouths in Medieval Christian Europe," and a French and francophone studies thesis titled "L'identite relationnelle: Definir le soi et l'autre par l'art."
The Lasell University Athletics department saw 110 Laser student-athletes earn 2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference honors.

A league-record 1,301 student-athletes were selected to this year's GNAC Academic All-Conference team. In order to be eligible for Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have reached/completed second-year academic status.
Among them were Peabody student-athletes Sofia Rodriguez (field hockey), Patrick Carbone (men's track and field) and Madison Nerich (women's track and field).
Dado Nasso was named to the Spring 2022 Dean's List at American International College. Dean's List students are full-time students who have achieved a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA.
Michael D'Iorio was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2022 President's List. D'Iorio is majoring in Mathematics .
To qualify for President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
Serena A. Laro was named to Husson University's President's List for the Spring 2022 semester.
During the spring semester, Laro was enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Biology and an Undergraduate Certificate in Data Analytics program.
Courtney A. Kline was among than 1,700 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2022 spring semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management and Panuska College of Professional Studies.
Kline is a junior criminal justice major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
More than 2,000 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2022 semester, including Mikayla Buckley, a Psychology major. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average between 3.5-3.99 for the semester.
To be named to the Plymouth State University's Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring 2022 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.
Hailey Carroll and Tyler Serino earned that distinction.

A total of 11,224 students enrolled during Spring Semester 2022 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).
Micaiah Jones graduated from Cedarville University in spring 2022 with an undergraduate degree in Music Education-Multi-Age .

Vermont Tech said Christopher Aylward is a graduate of the Class of 2022 and earned a Associate of Applied Science in Diesel Power Technology.
Benjamin T. Healey earned a degree from Clark University during the University's 118th Commencement exercises on May 22. Healey graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
The Collaboration Recognition Program at Lasell University was launched in 2021 as an opportunity to acknowledge students not just for their academic performance in a particular course, but for collaborative behaviors that are the key to success in professional environments. This semester, 32 students were honored with a Collaboration Recognition Award, including Jaqueline Cordeiro and Brianna Ricker of Peabody.
Recipients of the Collaboration Recognition Award are selected by their peers for exemplifying superior skills in collaboration by sharing ideas and useful information, communicating in a professional manner, and cooperating in a way to ensure success.
Ricker completed a Capstone research component project as part of their work in the university's prestigious Honors Program.
Ricker created cyanotypes, a type of photographic print, for her Honors Capstone component. She considered the global aspect of the art form and used the opportunity to explore the process of creating with an older art medium.
Students named to the Assumption University Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters. Peabody students include:
