Peabody Students Honored At Curry, Dean, Hofstra, Holy Cross, WPI, UNH

PEABODY, MA — These Peabody students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

A total of 2,069 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for Worcester Polytechnic Institute's fall 2022 Dean's List. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

The following Peabody students were named to the Dean's List for fall 2022:

Lily Bromberger, majoring in Civil Engineering, class of 2025;

Zachary Medailleu, majoring in Computer Science, class of 2026;

Samantha Simmons, majoring in Computer Science, class of 2026;

Madeline Talbot, majoring in Biomedical Engineering, class of 2026;

The College of the Holy Cross announced the following students were named to the fall 2022 Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year.

Caitlin Desmond, member of the class of 2025, Eugene Mantilla, member of the class of 2025, Foster Martinuk, member of the class of 2025, Samuel Silvestro, member of the class of 2024,

To qualify for the Holy Cross Dean's List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Shelby Doucette was named to the Stonehill College Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. Stonehill Dean's List students earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5 in all courses in which they were registered.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2022 semester:

Sophia Anezis, earning high honors, Emily Lima, earning high honors, Jake Caruso, earning high honors, Alex Houlden, earning high honors, Alexa Demakis, earning high honors, Thomas Gillis, earning high honors, Michael Katsiris, earning honors, Madeleine Scacchi, earning high honors, John Woods, earning honors, Elizabeth Newton, earning highest honors, Ella Kritikos, earning high honors, Brianna Kyes, earning highest honors, Julianne LeBlanc, earning highest honors, Niki Nikolouzos, earning honors, and Michael Tansey, earning honors.

Robert Shea excelled during the fall 2022 semester at Hofstra, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

To be named to the President's List at Plymouth State, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the Fall 2022 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Eric Higgins and Emily McDonough of Peabody achieved that honor.

Kathryn DiGiulio was named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the Fall 2022 semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. DiGiulio is a Nursing major at Plymouth State.

The following Southern New Hampshire University students from Peabody were named to the fall 2022 President's List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

The Peabody students named to the President's List were Christopher Bavaro, Adam Fleischer, Brian Morelli, Adam Chalifour, Yeimy Ramon, Allan Salazar and Luis Valenzuela.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List.

The Peabody students named to the SNHU Dean's List were Luiz Felipe Desouza, Joshua Di Napoli and Caitlin McGrath.

Colby Browne, who graduated from Bishop Fenwick in 2021 and attends Highpoint University in Highpoint, NC, was named to the school's Dean's List as a sophomore. Browne is majoring in business.

Peabody's Shannon Nagy and Danielle Barrasso were named to the Curry College fall Dean's List.

Ryan Knight and Emily Osborn were named to the University of Hartford fall Dean's List.

Colby Therrien earned Dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the fall 2022 semester. Therrien is majoring in Finance BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Lea Bettencourt, Taryn Moquin and Chiara Salzillo of Peabody were named to the Dean College Dean's List for fall 2022.

The following Regis College students from Peabody earned fall 2022 Dean's List honors at Regis College: Nora Connor, Abby Kilbride, Lianna Nolan, Ana-Dajah Quintana, Paige Ritchie and Christina Ruggiero.
