PEABODY, MA — These Peabody students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
Grace Conway, Olivia Gardikas, Janelle Baetzel and Penny Spack all earned a spot on the University of Rhode Island spring 2024 Dean's List. To be included on the URI Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
Ten Peabody students were among the 625 presented degrees at the 73rd Stonehill College graduation on May 19. They were Felipe Bernava, Joseph Castrichini, Shelby Doucette, Daniel Dragicevic, Anthony Ferrara, Liam Finnegan, Madelyne Lomasney, Victoria Lombardi, James Nicholson and Theodore Wilson.

Jacob Caplan, Ryn Brierley, Alexander Serino and Oliver Garvey were named to the Emerson College Dean's List this spring, Caplan is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the class of 2024, Brierley is majoring in Creative Writing and is a member of the class of 2027, Serino is majoring in Acting and is a member of the class of 2024 and Garvey is majoring in Media Arts Production and is a member of the class of 2025.
Lilia Avila earned a spot on the Dean's List at Springfield College during the 2024 spring semester. She has a primary major of Exercise Science.

Patrick Carbone, Madison Nerich, Maxwell Corson and Jacquelyn Scopa were named to the Lasell College Dean's List with a GPA of 3.5 or higher this spring.
Sasha Syska earned a BS in Nursing degree and Ashley Sullivan earned an MBA in Business Administration degree as graduates of Salve Regina University.
Samuel Silvestro earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross. Silvestro was one of 751 degree recipients during the 178th commencement at the DCU Center on May 24.
Nora Connor, Abigail Kilbride, Ana-Dajah Quintana, Paige Ritchie and Alexandra Stone were named to the spring Dean's List at Regis College.
Ana Carolina Almeida graduated from Regis with a BA in Public Health, Connor graduated with a BS in Supply Chain Management, Quintana graduated with a BS in Nursing and Arielle Richardson graduated with a BS in Dental Hygiene
Matthew Raymond, Cameron Rich, Trevor Smith, Alexander Franklin and Emma Bloom earned a spot on the Dean's List at Assumption University. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included.
Tyler Connolly and Achilles Gikas earned their undergraduate degrees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Connolly majored in Mechanical Engineering and Gikas majored in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Paige Ritchie and Divine Nseka were members of the Regis College women's lacrosse team that set a program record for victories in a season in finishing third in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference this spring.
Abby Kilbride, a junior student-athlete studying Dental Hygiene competed on the Regis women's track and field team during the spring 2024 season. The team earned the title of Great Northeast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Champions for the third time since 2018.
Shannon Sweeney, Jamie Tagliamonte, Leanna Jones and Molika Um earned a place on the winter term Dean's List at Southern New Hampshire University.
Gregory Gobin, Brian Morelli, Lisa Salerno, Corey Green, Allan Salazar, Selveta Gacevic, Crighton Lawlor, David D'Amico, Anthony Minichillo, Michael Berlangieri, Lizmailyn Escoto and Emma Hayward all earned a place on the SNHU President's List for winter 2024.
Lea Bettencourt was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society at Dean College.
Cameron King was named among the students who qualified for Belmont University's spring 2024 Dean's List.
Shelby Doucette and Theodore Wilson, members of Stonehill College's class of 2024, was recently inducted into the Tri-Alpha Honor Society. This organization recognizes members of the institution's first-generation community, who are the first in their families to attend college, for their commitment to academic excellence.
Curry College welcomed Shannon Nagy into the Business Management Honor Society, Sigma Beta Delta. The purpose of Sigma Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management, and administration, as well as, to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.
Jenna Durkin was named to St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for achieving academic excellence during the fall 2023 semester. Durkin is a member of the class of 2025 and is majoring in psychology and business in the liberal arts. Durkin attended Bishop Fenwick High School.
Jennifer Talbot, Tara Fitzgerald and Daniel Vasconcelos were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. They were initiated at Salem State University.
Brigid Barry, Logan McGonigle and Tara Fitzgerald were named to the Champlain College Dean's List.
