Peabody Takes on Everett Friday Night in High School Football Playoffs

On Friday night, the PVMHS football team is at home against Everett for one of the biggest games in the team’s recent history.

With a win against the perennial powerhouse, the Tanners will move onto the Division 1 North finals against the winner of tomorrow night’s Central Catholic/Andover match up.

Peabody defeated Malden last week 34-19 in the first round of the playoffs, while Everett knocked off top-seeded St. John’s Prep 14-7.

School officials are expecting a big crowd for tonight’s game, which begins at 7 p.m, and have brought in extra bleachers to accommodate the expected crowd.
