The Peabody Tanners swimming and diving teams improved to 2-1 for the season after squeaking past Salem Thursday night, 90-86, in a home meet at the .
Head coach Maureen Shea reports the 200-yard medley relay team of sisters Julie and Christine Shea, Zack Melville and Alex Guay took first place, while Christine Shea won the 200 freestyle, and sister Julie won the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke.
The Tanners swimming and diving squads travel to Danvers next Tuesday (5 p.m.) to take yet another Northeastern Conference opponent, the Falcons.
