Peabody U13 Girls Tanners Select Lacrosse heads to the Finals

22 of Peabody’s finest Lacrosse players will be heading down to Foxboro tomorrow night for the Championship game.

The team consists of fifth and sixth grade girls.

Head coach Ed Lomasney states;

“We are very proud of the girls dedication, development and teamwork they all have put into the sport. They train almost year round, compete a high level and the hard work has really paid off”.

The team itself scored over 70 goals over 6 games with multiple scorers. Some of which are Brooke Lomasney, Madi Barrett, Ally Bettencourt, Hannah Bettencourt, and Angela Fabbo to mention a few. Caitlin Snow was a brick wall in net saving endless goals. This group of girls are very special, the bond they have together is unbreakable. Many have been playing together since 1st grade. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these girls.”

MBGLL Select has it’s Teams U13 on Friday, June 14 in Foxboro at Foxboro High School:

6:00-7:00pm - U13 Semi-Finals (to be played on a grass field)
#1 Peabody (6-0) vs #4 SNYL (4-2)
#2 North Shore Fisher Cats (5-1) vs #3 Merrimack Valley Select (5-1)

7:30-8:30pm - U13 Championship Game (to be played on a turf field)
