Peabody Walk For Veterans, Soldiers & Sailors Monument Cleanup Set
The Rotary Club of Peabody invites the public to participate in the events following the City Hall Veterans Day ceremony.
PEABODY, MA — The Rotary Club of Peabody is inviting residents to help its members honor the city's veterans and their sacrifices during a day of service on Nov. 11.
The Rotary is hosting a Walk for Veterans immediately after the City Hall ceremony and will then spend the afternoon cleaning the area around the Soldiers and Sailors monument and the monument itself at Courthouse Plaza.
"The Rotary's motto is 'Service Above Self' and we are indebted to those who served us," the Rotary said.

City residents are encouraged to participate in the walk or donate to the Rotary's efforts to assist veterans and Peabody students throughout the year here.
The Peabody Veterans High School Junior ROTC Honor Guard will lead the walk, followed area veterans, Rotarians, public officials and supporters.

Those in wheelchairs or in need of assistance walking will be helped by Rotarians for the short walking route.
