Peabody To Impose Water Restrictions Starting Wednesday

Residents are asked to limit consumption outdoors to three days a week early in the morning or the evening depending on their address.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody is asking residents to conserve water effective immediately because of low reservoir levels.

The city is putting in place a voluntary restriction by reducing outdoor water use to three days a week either from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Odd-numbered houses are asked to restrict watering to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while even-numbered houses are asked to restrict watering to Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
