Peabody West Continues Run to Williamsport
Peabody West put on a hitting clinic at Lynn's Wyoma Field, beating crosstown rivals the Peabody Nationals, 17-0, on Saturday before going on to club Swampscott from tournament play as well.
It only took three innings and Peabody West was up 17-0 on cross town rivals the Peabody Nationals.
When it was the West team’s turn to bat again, the game was called on account of the mercy rule and the Nationals were out of the District 16 tournament.
Peabody West went on knock Swampscott from the tournament as well and now faces East Lynn Monday night at 5:45 p.m. in Saugus.
