Peabody West Loses Heartbreaker to Wyoma
Peabody left four men stranded on third base and had one thrown out at home during the course of the game, which lasted nine innings and ended 5-3 Wyoma.
The powerhouse team representing Peabody West was handed a loss Saturday afternoon by Wyoma in the Little League Williamsport Tournament.
The game stretched over nine innings with Peabody finally coming up short, 5-3, a much different ballgame than last Sunday when the all-star squad .
Peabody West now plays Salem American next in the District 16 tournament on Wednesday (5:45 p.m.) at East Lynn.
