Peabody Youth Soccer Teams Win New England Revs Tournament
The Peabody Destroyers' U-10 and U-8 teams took first place in the 4 v. 4 tournament last month.
PEABODY, MA – Three Peabody Destroyers soccer teams competed in the New England 4v4 Revolution Tournament last month, with two taking home the title in their respective divisions.
Two U-10 clubs and one U-8 team each played four games on a hot, muggy July day, ahead of the Revolution's game against the Chicago Fire.
All three teams advanced to the championship games, with the U-8 club scoring a last-second goal to propel them to the title game.

The U-8 team went along to win its championship game, along with one of the U-10 teams. The three teams combined for a 10-2 record and scored 63 goals during the tournament.
