Peabody's Atomic Coffee Roasters Launches Mountain Bike-Inspired Blend

PEABODY, MA — A North Shore coffee roaster is celebrating the region's mountain biking community and history with a new "Singletrack" coffee blend.

Atomic Coffee Roasters will donate $2 from the sale of every bag of Singletrack to the New England Mountain Bike Association to help enhance the trail system across New England.

With 33 chapters across New England and a membership base of more than 8,000, NEMBA works to promote mountain biking, and steward trail systems, and help ensure access to open spaces for riders.

"This just seemed like a no-brainer for us," added Spencer Mahoney, VP of Operations at Atomic. "Atomic has a long history of involvement with the cycling community and this partnership with NEMBA allows us to take it one step further."

Singletrack is a post-blend that combines coffees from Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Honduras. This medium roast has a combination of sweet caramel and toasted nut notes, while the finish offers a refreshing pear-like acidity.

Singletrack is available on Atomic's website and at select cafes throughout New England.

Atomic operates two production facilities, a roastery in Peabody and a cold-brew facility in Danvers. Atomic sells coffee and cold brew direct through its website, at grocery stores, and to a growing network of cafes and restaurants throughout New England.

NEMBA is a 501(c)3 non-profit and leads nearly a thousand mountain bike rides a season, puts on various skills clinics and trail-building schools, and advocates for mountain biking and recreational trails.
