Peabody's Giacalone, Danvers' Brooks Earn MIAA-Boston Bruins Awards
The hockey duo was selected as the Northeastern Conference recipients of the MIAA Boston Bruins Sportsmanship Awards.

BOSTON, MA — Peabody/Lynnfield girls hockey player Yasmine Giacalone and Danvers High player Liam Brooks were among the recipients of the annual Boston Bruins MIAA Sportsmanship Award winners honored during night's game against the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden.
The student-athletes were honored for exemplifying a commitment to sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, both on and off the ice.
Players from each conference were chosen with the winners from the North Shore also including Jake Vana of St. John's Prep in Danvers and Kasey Litwin of St. Mary's High of Lynn.
