The South Branch of the Peabody Institute Library is having our annual Planting Day! Children ages 5-9 and their parents are invited to listen to stories about spring and plants while they decorate flower pots to get them ready for planting. Once the pots are decorated, kids will be able to fill them with soil and plant flower or vegetable seeds. Pots, plants and all can be taken home to watch the seeds grow. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn about gardening, plant care and the life cycle of plants.
This program will be held at the South Branch located on 78 Lynn St, Peabody. All materials will be provided.
