PMLP Recognizes National Lineman Appreciation Day
April 18, 2018 has been named National Lineman Appreciation Day.

Electrical lineworkers are the people you see on streets and on the poles making sure that power gets to your homes and businesses uninterrupted. They are especially called upon when storms damage overhead wires. They are also called into action when an accident causes damage to poles, and sagging “downed” wires need to be fixed. On a regular basis, they work in conjunction with contractors to be sure the electrical service to your home is connected and reliable.
Thorough training and proper safety protocols assure that lineworkers are ready to perform their duties at the highest level to avoid service interruptions and serious accidents. Our team routinely works under dangerous conditions but their work is far from routine. When the pressure is on to finish projects as quickly as possible, these dedicated employees remain calm and resolve problems professionally and safely.
Please remember to avoid fallen power lines. If you see a fallen line, or any unsafe situation in Peabody or Lynnfield, call us at 978-531-5975. We will dispatch a trained lineworker to get the job done.
