Police Log: 12-Year-Old Charged With Making Threat

Thursday, Aug. 7
At 2:02 p.m., police summonsed a 12-year-old to court and charged the juvenile with threatening to commit a crime. Police summonsed the child after a report of a girl being threatened in a video that was sent to her brother.
At 2:26 p.m., police disposed of hypodermic needles found on Lowell Street.

At 2:56 p.m., a Macy’s Men’s employee reported a shoplifter tried to steal cologne. The store handled the matter.
At 3:50 p.m., a Broad Street resident reported an explosion in the woods. Police found a can of bug spray exploded. There was no issue.

At 6:15 p.m., police responded to Meadows Golf Course about eight intoxicated people in their 20s coming off the 18th hole and causing a disturbance. They left before police arrived.
At 9:13 p.m., police summonsed a 33-year-old Salem resident to court and charged the person with larceny more than $250.
Friday, Aug. 8
At 9:14 a.m., a Harrison Avenue resident reported a car tire was slashed.
At 10:10 a.m., police arrested Christopher J. Monaco, 34, 14 Washington Place, Peabody, and charged him on a warrant for conspiracy and larceny less than $250.
At 11:26 a.m., police arrested Sean Arnold Boyden, 28, 2 Dooling Circle, Peabody, and charged him with carrying a dangerous weapon and on a warrant for being present where heroin is kept. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Lynn Street.
