Police Arrest Alleged Peabody Bank Robber
The arrest was made after State Police pulled over a taxi the alleged robber was riding in.
PEABODY, MA — Massachusetts State Police arrested a person believed to have robbed a Bank of America branch in Peabody on Monday. Police stopped a taxi that was carrying the alleged robber on Route 93 near Melnea Cass Boulevard, according to a Twitter post by State Police. The investigation is ongoing. No other details were released.
MSP Troop H patrols have stopped a taxi carrying suspect in Peabody bank robbery and arrested the suspect. Robbery occurred at Bank of America in Peabody. Taxi was stopped in area of Route 93/Melnea Cass Boulevard, Boston. Investigation ongoing by Bank Robbery Task Force.
