Police: Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon Arrest; Road Rage Incident; Wallet Found

Tuesday, April 21

At 6:02 p.m., identity fraud on Ledgewood Way.

At 7:19 p.m., road rage incident on Thorndike Street. Reporting party stated that another driver tried to run her off the road several times in the area of Higgins Middle School. She was advised to drive to the police department. A be-on-the-lookout was issued for the suspect vehicle. After speaking to the reporting party, officers determined the incident took place in Beverly.

Wednesday, April 22

At 4:43 p.m., assault and battery with a dangerous weapon arrest on Newbury Street. Officer received a report from a passerby that there was an intoxicated party at the gas station located at the intersection of Newbury Street and Forest Street. The officerr spoke with the intoxicated man, who turned out to be the suspect from a domestic incident at the Plaza Motel. Robert Gray, 54, of Salem, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangrous weapon, to wit, plastic bag, assault and assault and battery strangulation..

At 5:04 p.m., found wallet at Main Street Barber Shop. Party found a wallet and would like to turn it over to police. Officer made contact with wallet owner. Wallet was returned with all contents intact.

At 5:17 p.m., shoplifting at Ulta Beauty on Andover Street. Value of itmes shoplifted over $500. Investigation is ongoing..

At 7:30 p.m., accident with injuries on Lowell Street. Car into pole.Driver transported to an area hospital. PMLP notified.

Thursday, April 23

At 11:32 a.m., vandalism at PK Motorcars on Washington Street. Caller reported damage to a Honda Accord and a Mercedes sedan.

At 1:53 p.m., parking complaint on Dennis Street.
