Police: Barking Dogs; Loud Kids

Wednesday, July 22

At 4:27 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported on Clement Avenue. Jewelry and cash was reported stolen.

At 9:05 p.m., kids were being loud at Pierpont Park. Police advised the kids to keep it down.

At 11:09 p.m., a driver involved in a motor vehicle accident on Lynnfield Street was taken to Salem Hospital.

At 6:24 a.m., a Newbury Street resident said his neighbor was playing too loudly with his dog.

At 10:02 a.m., there was a report of a sick bird on Andover Street. The bird was dead when the animal control officer arrived.

At 12:27 p.m., a Newbury Street resident complained about a neighbor’s barking dog. Police explained that short bursts of barking are not considered a violation of the city ordinance, but that the barking must be extended and continous.

At 12:45 p.m., police responded to a three-car accident on Andover Street.
