Police: Bomb Threat, Assault and Battery With a Dangerous Weapon, Shoplifting Arrest

Thursday, Jan. 29

At 9:56 p.m., larceny from 2014 on Ledgewood Way reported at the police station. Toni Sabella, 48, of Boxford, will be summoned for larceny from a building.

At 11:28 p.m., threats investigated, A walk-in party reported that an former employee was making to Nordstrom’s on Facebook. Temporary warrant issued by Peabody District Court. BOLO put out over the North District. Summons issued for Dana E. Jackson, 46, of Beverly: Bomb threat, false; six counts to commit a crime.

Friday, Jan. 30

At 7:03 a.m., motor vehicle crash on Washington Street at Mason Street. One person transported to an area hospital, Both vehicles towed. DPW contacted to sand Washington Street. David Rodriguez, 29, of Salem, will be summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and revoked registration.

Saturday, Jan. 31

At 7:53 a.m., motor vehicle crash on Main Street at Washington Street. No injuries. No tows.

At 11:34 a.m., solicitors checked-in at the police station. All parties involved were allowed to go door to door for Powers Home Remodeling.

At 12:02 p.m., shoplifting arrest at Macy’s. Heliton Dos Santos, 36, of Peabody, arrested for shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

At 7:27 p.m., disturbance on Central Street. One person transported to Beverly Hospital. John L. Karavolas, 52, of Peabody, arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Crime scene investigated.

At 11:43 p.m., parking complaint on Esquire Drive. Caller reported parking issue whereas fire apparatus might not be able to pass.

Sunday, Feb. 1

At 12:05 a.m., broken water pipe in basement on Pleasant Street. Fire Department and landlord will handle. Fire officials shut the water down.

At 1:03 a.m., attempt to lift 10-day animal quarantine lifted on Paleologos Street. Dog is currently licensed and vaccinated.
