Police: Break-In Thrwarted, Laundry Stolen, Warrant Arrest

Wednesday, March 11
At 2:32 p.m., assist citizen on the bike path behind Proctor Circle.Report of a female that was walking on the bike path, and got stuck in the hip-deep snow. Woman was freed from the snowbank.
At 3:44 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Lynn Street. Marco A. Merida, 46, of Lynn, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. refusing to identify himself and warrant.

At 4:28 p.m., shoplifting at TJ Maxx. Julio Arias, 37, of Dorchester, was summonsed for shoplifting.
At 4:53 p.m., suspicious activity on Buttonwood Lane. Caller reported an active breaking and entering to the back basement door. A man kicked in the back door. Diana Taka, 55, former Buttonwood Lane resident, was summonsed to court for trespassing and possession of a burglarious tool.

At 8:54 p.m., larceny on Main Street. Larceny of laundry. Officer believes it was accidental. reporting party will return tomorrow to see if it was returned.
Thursday, march 12
At 12:24 a.m., larceny on Mt. Vernon Street. Reporting party states that someone is in the backyard taking his ladder from his truck. Two ladders- 24-feet and 32-feet - were stolen from the truck in his backyard. Reporting party stated the men fled towards Fulton Street.
At 1:24 a.m., fight in progress on Bowditch Street. Loud verbal argument.
At 9:39 a.m., traffic hazard on Russell Street. Vehicle may have rolled out of the driveway; owner located the vehicle.
At 12:36 p.m., warrant arrest on Centennial Drive. Jacinda G. Avery, 37, of Peabody arrested by a warrant issued out of Peabody District Court.
At 1:55 p.m., motor vehicle stop at Sears. Written warning issued for failure to stop.
