Police: Burglary on Pearl Street; Shoplifting Arrest; Check Fraud

Wednesday, April 29

At 2:37 p.m., fraud on Central Street. Reporting party stated that someone was cashing checks in his name in Chicago.

At 3:32 p.m., burglary on Pearl Street. Party reports the past break and enter to her residence with a possible suspect. Michael S. Torrence, 25, of Peabody, was summonsed to court for breaking and entering building daytime for felony, and larceny over $250.

At 3:42 p.m., credit card at Peabody Mobile Park on Newbury Street. Party reported her Citizen’s Bank Visa card was used in Baltimore for $800 in fraud purchases.

At 5:07 p.m., suspiciouis activity on Keys Drive.Calling party reported a male party by the name of Mark is approaching children in the area to come back to his residence and play with his dog. Officer spoke to Mark, who denied the allegations.

Thursday, April 30

At 10:40 a.m., fraud reported at the North Shore Bank on Main Street. Check fraud. Ongoing investigation.

At 12:47 p.m., shoplifting at JCPenney. Sandra Deleon, of 33, of Lynn, will be summonsed for shoplifting.

At 12:48 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Paleologos Street. Caller reported that two parties might be fighting. One person transported to an area hospital. Vehicle towed.

At 1:17 p.m., shoplifting at Stop and Shop. Shoplifter fled the store. Items received in the parking lot.

At 1:50 p.m., motor vehicle stop at the Northshore Mall. Written warning for red light violation.
