Police: Car Into Pole, OUI Drugs Arrest; Fight; Bank Account Fraud

Friday, April 24

At 7:04 p.m., burglary at Weiss Landscape Co. on Farm Avenue. Report of stolen equipment.

At 7:52 p.m., assist citizens at the Public Storage on Newbury Street. Fire department requested assistance with clients at the storage facility. The clients were locked inside the parking lot. Firefighters were able to open the gate, and an employee was aware the gate would not close.

Saturday, April 25

At 6:46 a.m., three-vehicle accident with injuries on Main Street at Washington Street. One person was transported to an area hospital. Two vehicles towed. Amer Fadelelsaid, 24, was cited for failure to use care in stopping and speeding.

At 12:35 p.m., car into pole on Forest Street and Anthony Way. Emmanuel Paragios, 37, of Peabody, was summonsed to court for operating under the influence of drugs, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and malicious destruction of property over $250.

At 1:31 p.m., suspicious activity on Troy Street. Report of a man taking photos into the house from the basement window. Suspect then left the area riding a bike wearing a backpack in the direction of Fairview Avenue. Officer reported spoke with Arthur McCarthy. Officer made contact with the resident, inside of the house, who reported that McCarthy was a guest. McCarthy, 33, of Danvers, was arrested operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection sticker and a warrant.

At 2:08 p.m., assist citizen on Washington Street. Resident would like to speak to an officer about a box of knives he wants to get rid off. Officer reported that the knives were turned in.

At 4:47 p.m., fraud reported on Dana Road.

At 7:54 p.m., assist fire department at Portuguese- American War Veterans on Tremont Street. Child locked in vehicle. Firefighters unlocked door.

At 9:08 p.m., fraud reported on Lynn Street. Reporting party walked into the station to report that an individual made a false deposit into her account, and then withdrew $100 from the same account.

Sunday, April 26

At 12:28 a.m., fight in progress at Mobile Estates on Newbury Street. Report of a large fight outside a trailer. Verbal dispute between residents. Peace was restored.

At 1:10 p.m., animal control officer. Goldberg Street caller reported that her 6-year-old cat was missing. The cat’s name is Autumn. Autumn is a neutered male, orange tabby with white stripes and weighs about 17 pounds. He has a scar on his stomach.
