Police: Roof Collapses, Pedestrian Struck, Nintendo Consoles Stolen

Tuesday, Feb. 17

At 2:29 p.m., car into a snowbank on Aborn Street.

At 2:30 p.m., assist other agency at Pine Grove on Newbury Street. Assisted public services and building inspector with collapsing roof issue. Unit condemned at by the building inspectors office, No occupancy.

At 3:25 p.m. pedestrian struck by vehicle at Allens Lane and Washington Street. Officer was flagged down by a pedestrian. Pedestrian stated that he was struck by a vehicle with a school bus tag.

At 3:27 p.m., possible roof collapse at Tobin and Sons in Summit Industrial Park. Officers requested the building inspector to respond. Partial roof collapse. PMLP and National Grid notified.

At 4:17 p.m., dispute over snow on Newbury Street. Neighbor dumping snow on his own property. Reporting party could not see out her window.

At 8:20 p.m., motor vehicle accident on Harris Street, Alexandrino Dasilva, 48, of Peabody, will receive a summons for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

At 8:00 a.m., motor vehicle accident on Lynnfield Street. One vehicle towed.

At 10:11 a.m., shoplifting at JC Penneys. Three Nintendo DS consoles were stolen. They are valued at $170 each.
