Police: Drunk Driving Arrest; Two Tires Stolen Off a 2015 Lexus; Downed Tree

Friday, June 24

At 5:40 p.m., motor vehicle accident on Andover Street. No injuries reported.

At 6:16 p.m., serve warrant in police station parking lot. Jeffrey L. Green, 26. of Peabody, arrested on a warrant.

At 8:17 p.m., assist citizen at Hannaford’s on :Lowell Street. Manager had concerns about the items that a group of seven to eight teens purchased at the store. Officer spoke to the teens. Officer confiscated the items that were purchased at the store, and they were destroyed.

At 10:17 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Washington Street and Dustin Street. Officer stopped a scooter. Tyler Freeman 29, Lynn MA was arrested for marked lanes violation, operating with a revoked license. The scooter was towed.

Saturday, June 27

At 12:46 a.m., larceny at Northshore Mall. Security reported that two drivers-side tires were stolen off a 2015 Lexus.

At 1:36 a.m., tree down on South Shore Avenue. Received a report of a truck from Bob’s Furniture that has struck some trees in the area. DPW was notified to remove the tree branch. Comcast was notified about a downed cable wire.

At 8:50 p.m., assist citizen on Main Street. Party sleeping on the sidewalk.

At 9:18 p.m., disorderly conduct at Stonewood tavern on Lynnfield Street. April Hammond, 56, of Rockland, arrested for disorderly conduct.

At 10:53 p.m., fireworks complaint on Holten Street. Fireworks confiscated.

At 11:44 p.m.,, hit and run accident on Washington Street at Main Street. Michael R. Bompane, 31, of Peabody, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Sunday, June 28

At 12:35 a.m. larceny at the Northshore Mall. Caller reported someone was crouching between the vehicles in the area where vehicles were parked. Officer reports suspect party attempted to flee in a vehicle, but was detained. Vehicle damaged was the same vehicle that had two tires stolen from it a day ago. Corey O’Leary, 33, of Lynn, was arrested for larceny over $250, possession of burglarious tools,attempt to commit a crime and operating after suspension of license.

At 12:57 a.m., hit and run accident on Benevento Circle.Caller reported an unknown vehicle hit a light pole in the vicinity. PMLP notified, and enroute to assess the pole.
