Police: Dryer Stolen by Someone in a White Pickup Truck; Drunk Driving Arrests; Water Main Break

Friday, May 1

At 4:10 p.m., motor vehicle accident on Lake Street. Two motor vehicles involved. Mark J. Waldrip, 29, of Sandown, N.H., will receive a criminal complaint summons for marked lanes violation and negligent operation. One person was transported to an area hospital. One vehicle towed.

At 5:55 p,m., assist citizen on Lynn Street. Landlord-tenant dispute.

At 6:52 p.m., arrest on Railroad Avenue. Ilir Bualli, 39, of Peabody, arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

At 6:56 p.m. suspicious activity on Joy Road. Two males approaching children. Area searched. Documented.

Saturday, May 2

At 1:09 a.m. arrest on Rainbow Road. Reports of a vehicle all over the road and struck a vehicle in Lynn, Mark J. Wall, 45, of Revere, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.Lynn Police arrived for photos of the vehicle.

At 4:23 p.m., wallet found on Jacobs Street. Wallet returned to the owner.

At 5:38 p.m. motor vehicle stop on Newbury Street. Jose Blanca-Espinoza, 40, of Lynn, was arrested for operating an unlicensed vehicle and for a stop sign violation. Vehicle towed. Summons issued for Juan Rivera Diaz, 31, of Lynn, for allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle.

At 8:20 p.m., larceny on Goodridge Street. Caller reported his dryer was stolen by someone in a white pickup truck.

Sunday, May 3

At 1:51 a.m., disturbance at Tedeschi Food on Main Street. Caller reported a fight in progress at the store. Reported to be between an employee and a male in a red shirt. Officer reported a verbal disagreement, with the parties sent on their way and advised to call it a night.

At 2:02 a.m., DPW callout for report of a possible water main break on Aberdeen Street. Confirmed water main break.

At 2:16 a.m., parking enforcement on Harris Street. Ticket issued to a vehicle parked too close to the fire hydrant.

At 12:30 p.m., shoplifting at Sears. Mercedes Marroquin and Iraheta Santos, both of Chelsea were both summonsed for shoplifting. Value $100.

At 12:54 p.m., fire too close to a house on Pine Street. The Fire Department extinguished small grass fire.
