Police Log: $2,100 Larceny, Car Struck a Building and Threats Investigated

Monday, Nov. 24
At 2:23 p.m., motor vehicle crash investigated at Antonio’s Tailor Shop on Cross Street. Car struck a building. Building inspector notified, Vehicle towed. Driver cited (written warning) for speed, and failure to take care. PMLP looked at the pole, no issues, they called Verizon for damage to the phone line.
At 5:04 p.m., threats on Northend Street investigated. Man reported receiving death threats over the phone.

At 6:26 p.m., larceny of $2,100 reported on Cleveland Road. Christopher M. York, 39, of Peabody, charged with larceny over $2,100.
At 8:41 p.m., report party stated there was a man laying down on the grass on Walnut Street Place. Man was listening to music, and was sent on his way.

Tuesday, Nov. 25
At 6:47 a.m., two-vehicle crash investigated at Towb Variety on Central Street. No injuries. One of the drivers will be summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 9:10 a.m., a hit and run accident was reported on Washington Street at Main Street. No injuries reported.
At 9:18 a.m., a past hit and run accident reported at Avis. No injuries.
At 11:04 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street. Michael J. Masella, 25, of Peabody will be summons for failure to signal and operating with a suspended license.
