Police Log: Crash on Lynnfield Street Results in an Arrest

Wednesday, Oct. 1

At 2:20 p.m., police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Andover Street and Violet Road. No injuries. One vehicle towed.

At 2:35 p.m., reports of a stolen silver adult Mongoose bike from Tanners Court.

At 3:06 p.m., a letter carrier found several drivers licenses in a mailbox, and believes they may have been stolen. Officers documented 16 drivers licenses.

At 3:14 p.m., police investigated a larceny at Trader Joe’s on Andover Street. A store employee reported that a customer had her wallet stolen. Cash, driver’s license and credit cards missing.

At 5:36 p.m., police investigated a single-vehicle crash on Newbury Street. No injuries. Jason S. O’Rourke, 26, will be summonsed for operation of a motor vehicle after suspension.

At 6:03 p.m., a parent on Lowe Street reported that her 12-year-old son ran away from home.

At 7:46 p.m., a missing juvenile returned to their Lowe Street home.

Thursday, Oct. 2

At 3:44 a.m., police investigated a complaint of a blaring television and radio at Southwick condos on Foster Street.

At 5:33 a.m., a caller reported that a possibly intoxicated person kept trying to come behind the counter.

At 7:55 a.m., an officer issued a verbal warning for a drop-off violation at the Police Department.

At 8:53 a.m., police investigated a single-vehicle that drove up onto a sidewalk near Thorndike Gardens on Brooksby Village Drive, and caused property damage. The vehicle was towed and the driver received a verbal warning for failure to use care.,

At 9:22 a.m., lockdown drill at McCarthy School.

At 12:36 p.m., police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Lynnfield Street with injuries. Stacy Logan, 37, of Lynn, was arrested on a default warrant, and issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license and failure to signal. The driver of a second vehicle was taken to an area hospital. Both vehicles were towed.
