Police Log: Police Make Four Arrests

Excerpts from the Peabody Police Department log.

Monday, July 28

At 3:07 p.m., police arrested Michael Lepore, 24, 114 South St., Reading, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Washington Street.

At 3:39 p.m., police received a report of youths possibly smoking marijuana in an abandoned home on Holten Street. Police told them to leave and if they return they will be arrested for trespassing.

At 7:26 p.m., police arrested Marc D. Devoe, 31, 37 Garden Road, Apt. A, Peabody, and charged him with domestic assault and battery.

At 7:27 p.m., police arrested Sokhom Nuon, 29, 51 Winthrop Ave., Lowell, and charged the person with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise, possessing burglarious instruments and receiving stolen property less than $250. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Macy’s.

At 7:54 p.m., a Bartholomew Street resident reported a car was broken into and $40 in cash and a GPS were stolen.

Tuesday, July 29

At 10:47 a.m., police cited a Samoset Road resident for violating the barking ordinance. A neighbor complained about excessive barking. The person was cited $25.

At 12:07 p.m., police arrested Shane M. Goode, 21, 21A Malvern Ave., Apt. 2, Somerville, and charged him with threatening to commit a crime, intimidating a witness and domestic assault and battery.
