Police Log: Shoplifting Suspect Charged on Eight Arrest Warrants

At 2:41 p.m., police arrested Darling Rafael Espinal, 32, 43 Childs St., Apt. 2, Lynn, and charged the person with larceny less than $250 and eight outstanding warrants for larceny from a building, two counts of uttering a counterfeit note, three counts of larceny less than $250, two counts of forging a bank note, failing to return leased property, larceny by check more than $250, two counts of larceny more than $250, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), possessing a Class B drug (subsequent offense) and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). Police made the arrest after a report of a group of shoplifters at J.C. Penney.

At 5:51 p.m., a Peabody resident reported her daughter was receiving suspicious text messages.

At 7:36 p.m., police arrested Paul T. Carolan, 35, 17 Leavitt St., Apt. 1, Salem, and charged him with larceny more than $250. Police made the arrest after a report of an uncooperative shoplifter at Macy’s.

At 10:16 p.m., police summonsed a 22-year-old Peabody woman and charged her with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Washington Street.

At 11:07 p.m., police arrested Braudys Nunez, 19, 5 Park St., Apt. 1, Peabody, and charged him for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a motor vehicle lights violation and a warrant for three counts of assault and battery on a public employee, disturbing a school and malicious destruction of property less than $250.

At 8:23 a.m., police responded to Lynnfield Street concerning a neighbor dispute about a security camera. An officer found the camera is looking down a common alley between the two homes. Police told the person that he should use drapes of shades on his window if he’s concerned about the camera.
