Police: Robbery, Water Main Break, Rollover Accident

Monday, Feb. 23
At 2 p.m., assist Peabody Fire Department for a possible gas leak at Northshore Mall. Gas company on scene.
At 2:13 p.m., assist other agency on Central Street. Building inspector’s office advised resident and relative of repairs needed in order to continue residing in the home. Homeowners agreed to make the repairs.

At 2:52 p.m., animal control call on Ellsworth Road. Caller reported her large, 8-yr-old, neutered, male, orange tabby cat is missing. Bailey was last seen in the area of 40 Ellsworth Road last night. He was not wearing a collar and is not microchipped.
At 5:05 p.m., an anonymous party turned in a wallet at the police station, Owner was called.

At 8:49 p.m., robbery at Town Variety on Central Street. Clerk stated she just got robbed and he had a weapon.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
At 10:13 p.m., mall security at Northshore Mall called to report a purse was found.
At 7:17 a.m., reports of a rollover with entrapment on Newbury Street. State police investigated.
At 8:41 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Lynnfield Street. Dircilene Garcia, 31, of Peabody, was summonsed for failure to use care, attaching plates, and operating after suspension.
At 9:32 a.m. disturbance at NASCAP on Foster Street. Caller reported that an unknown woman came up to her vehicle and banged on her windows. Car was accidentally parked in the employee lot. Signage was not visible due to snow. Vehicle moved.
At 11:11 a.m., report of a water main break on Janice Lane. Passerby reported possible water main break. Large amount of water gushing out of the ground through a snow bank. DPW notified.
